Lord, please watch over him,
Give him strength until he finds his own.
Always help him to stand strong,
Please, show him, “that he belongs”

Hold him in your hands
In those moments he feels weak.
And during the times he stumbles
Please, help him to his feet.

Gently guide him down his path
Give him strength
So he may let go of the past

Be his beacon, in his times of dark.
Let him feel the love of others
Deep within his heart.

Show him how to love himself,
Give him wisdom to believe.
Lord, please watch over him
Help him see all that he can be.

Please, do all these things, for the love of him
And for the love I have for him in me.
