Dramatics

As we go through life

On our journey to seemingly nowhere,

Playing the game of survival

So we can live long enough to die,

We fill in series of moments with dramatically important things,

Which are usually, eventually forgotten

As new dramatically important things take their place.

Then finally, having lived just long enough to die,

All those dramatically important things which remain

Fade off into the empty portals of time,

Only to disappear forever.
